Is the spa party hosted or self-guided?
Our spa parties are designed to be self-guided. Katie’s Party Lab provides branded, easy-to-follow instructions so a parent or another responsible adult can guide guests through each step of the experience or tweens and teens can complete the experience at their own pace.
Are the spa products appropriate for sensitive skin?
We select gentle products for the spa experience, but individual sensitivities and allergies can vary. Parents are responsible for reviewing product ingredients and confirming that each child has permission to participate.
Guests are always welcome to skip any product or treatment.
What ages are spa parties best for?
Spa parties work well for a wide range of ages. The skincare steps, nail activity and instructions can be adjusted to suit the age and comfort level of the guest group.

How much space is needed?
The low-profile spa setup requires a clean, open area large enough for the table, floor pillows and guests to sit comfortably.
The setup area should be cleared before arrival. Photos and basic measurements may be requested to confirm that the selected space will work.
How long does the spa experience take?
The recommended party timeline depends on the guest count, ages and any activities or upgrades selected.
Most groups should allow approximately 60 to 90 minutes for the spa portion of the celebration.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
After receiving your inquiry, Katie’s Party Lab will confirm availability and send a proposal based on your event date, location, guest count, selected theme and requested upgrades. Once the agreement is signed and the retainer is paid, your celebration will be officially reserved.
