This spring, Katie's Party Lab partnered with FIT4MOM North Metro Denver to create a beautiful, interactive experience for their annual Month of Mama Event at Whitetail Park in Lafayette, Colorado. From fresh flowers and custom bouquets to small bites and light refreshments, the afternoon was designed around one simple goal: giving moms a chance to feel celebrated.

Welcome to the Bloom Bar
The first thing guests saw was our signature Bloom Bar. Designed with crisp white shelving, fresh seasonal flowers, neutral styling, and a classic fringe umbrella, the display immediately invited guests to stop, explore, and create.
Instead of traditional favors that often get left behind, every guest left with a custom bouquet they designed themselves. Not only does a flower bar become a beautiful focal point at an event, but it also creates an experience guests genuinely remember.
Creating a Bouquet, One Stem at a Time
One of our favorite moments was watching children carefully choose flowers for their moms. There wasn't a rush. Guests wandered through the display, comparing colors, mixing textures, and selecting stems that spoke to them. Some bouquets were bright and colorful. Others stayed soft and neutral. Every arrangement reflected the person creating it. That freedom is what makes flower bars so memorable, no two bouquets are ever the same.
A Keepsake That Lasts Beyond the Event
When guests finished creating their bouquets, they wrapped them in kraft floral sleeves finished with a soft satin ribbon. It's a simple presentation that feels elevated without being overdone. Unlike disposable party favors, these bouquets became something guests proudly carried home, a reminder of a wonderful afternoon spent celebrating motherhood.

A Refreshing Mocktail Bar
Colorado afternoons call for something refreshing. Our self-serve mocktail station featured chilled fruit-infused water alongside a variety of juices, allowing guests to build their own drinks while enjoying the event. Fresh lemons, limes, raspberries, blueberries, cherries, and strawberries added colorful garnishes that felt just as beautiful as they were delicious.
